Hey all, I'm basically new to SL I usually hangout at YSTC but come by every so often an check out some of the kicka$$ forums you have here too.
Quick question bout the doors, I was looking into them for my 06 SW and several of the installers/companies said you have to cut/roll the front fenders to ensure fitment for the hinges and the swing of the door..does this apply for the JT kit as well or is it made specifically for the tC and fits without any body modification?

i'm loving it. How much room you have to get out? I only ask because I have my mom rolling with me sometimes. That was the whole reason for asking about the doors that opened both ways.

the cutting/rolling doesnt look that bad at all...but is it noticeable from the outside of the car when the door is shut? and does rain/puddle water get in the area where the hinge is at all?

from the outside fo the car, it looks normal like if nothing was ever done. The only time u can tell that they cut the fender is when u open the door. ( check out the pic i posted above of the side/hinge)
As far as rain goes, today it was pouring in L.A. and i drove the car with no water getting in. Just like stock.

The doors open about half of what they used to open. Ive taken the family out in the car this weekend and it didnt seem to be a prob. I threw in my mom, sister, baby brother,(with car seat) and step dad. All got in and out with no prob. The only thing that is different is when u get in/out of the car, you gotta watch out for the door hitting u on the head..
