ok so smoked out my tail lights with the nightshade spray, real light coat, still legal, it looked great buy its flat and looked faded, any way i can shin it up, i was thinking ultra fine steel wool and alocohol

 

NO! use 2000 grit sand paper till it looks super dull but satiny smooth. then buff out with a buffer and some polishing compound. then itll look like glass.

oh yea. make sure you spray a bunch of clearcoat on there before you do this or youll just be takin off the black when you go to polish.

 

yea, just clearcoat em.
theyll stay shiny and protected!

 

what kind of clearcoat

 

u can get it at any automotive store.
just the rattle can kind.
i think i use the duplicolot, im not sure though.
i usually just buy whatever i see first cuz ive never had any problems with any of it.

yeah load on the duplicor flea said and then wet sand it with 2000 grit, use lots of water, until its a flat black kinda color and really smooth, then polish em

 

check out flea's write up on it which is in his sig, i followed it step by step and came out exactly like his did
