Has anybody ever heard of Vis Racing to comment on any of their products or experiences with them. I'm considering buying a CF hood from them.

What did you purchase from them?

 

I have not purchased anything from them but from what I've seen and heard they have great products!

 

As far I know they are a great company. Word of mouth is one of the best c/f companys around.

 

Does anybody else have any input on this company? I'd like to get a couple of views.

I agree with the others, VIS is top notch. One of the best out there, if not the best.

 

VIS def has a good name but I dont think the quality is still as strong as before. I read that VIS no longer uses the highest grade CF available. This was apparent in my CF hood that I have. The fitment is below par, the weave is kinked in at least three places, and the CF isnt fully wrapped around the front edge of the FG shell in one spot.

IMO, I wish I wouldve ordered the Seibon hood instead...

 

I thought that seibon makes the hoods for vis I bought a cf hood from showstoppersusa and the box says seibon and when i opened the box the hood was wrapped in vis paper weird.

 

That is a little weird, but you never know which companies are working together for different products.

 

really? that is definitely weird. i ordered the Seibon from showstoppersusa and got the Seibon box and Seibon "wrapping" paper stuff.

 

Vis right now is using a different kind of Cf weave witch is larger. I would what on buying anything cf from VIS right now till the Cf shortages go away.

 

I have one and it is one of the best out there. I had Motor FX hood before and it was a little lighter. VIS fits better and the weave is absolutely flawless.

 

I'm installing the hood 2marrow now I'm all worried hope it fits good.

 

The hood fit perfect and it looks great the cf pattern is perfect.
