you shouldnt have to go to court for tint.
its not a moving violation (unless your in Chicago)
so youd just mail it in and itd be all good.

 

I would just take the fronts off bro. It's really not a big deal to not have the fronts untinted. I had to rip off my front tint for a ticket and I rolled around like that for a while. I have 20% in the back with this picture.

 

thats illegal in 50 states.....its called entrapment

and i have 20% tint all around and 35% for front is legal in CT i have never been harassed for my tints but im sure i will in the near future....fight the tickets under the fact that it was entrapment.....

 

they gave me a court date to make sure i take them off

If the cops are waiting for you to leave you should defenitly report that cuz i think that is illegal

 

I do window tints professioanlly where i work, and i found out that Illinois is the ONLY state that has the "no front window tint" law.. ONLY STATE.. WTF!!! hell in Washington D.C. you can have 32 percent for the fronts, i think that would be the place where you couldn't have front window tints. I started to get hassled with my fronts, i had limo in the back 3, and 32 in the front, i took the fronts off, tinted another layer of limo in the back 3 and limo'd the 2 roof pieces it made the fronts look tinted, and still got pulled over becasue the dumb a@@ cop thought it was tinted, he was confounded when he asked to roll the window up and seen there wasn't no tint on there... then he proceded to ask bout my exhaust (a TRD which is legal).. thankfully he didn't bring up the tail light tint, those i have blacked out...

 

Tru dat! Messes with the flow of the tC. I have 35% all around and 20% on the hatch. Here in Cali, the
poe-leese always try and get you for tint on the front windows. I've had my tint for almost 3 years now and
have encountered zero problems. Even driving in L.A., where the cops will give you a ticket for blowing
your nose too hard and telling you that you have a loud modified exhaust.

Exactly. There's a small legal matter of "Probable Cause". Law Enforcement can't just pull people over at will, there must be a valid reason.

 

hopefully you learn your lesson and not put tints in the front, or atleast not that dark, maybe a 35% would work out. the law is the law and you either go by it or it will bite you back. i had tints in the front and got pulled, took them off and now i can drive without them hasseling me about it.

 

i did learn my lesson after paying like $300 worth of tickets
so now im gonna take them all off

 

just leave the rear 3 tints, the front take off and leave them off. wow $300 for 6 tickets, i thought it was gonna be alot more. GL with your court stuff.
