I got $56 ticket for front tint.
NJ won't allow any front tint too. But the cops never bothered me. It was the state troop whom gave me the ticket. But i can't complain, he only gave me a warning for speeding.

where I live (NC) a window tint ticket is a Misdemeanor and a court appearance.
35% all around is legal here, I had 20% on mine, the cops were doing a sting on window tint or something one day and got me.
I had to take it off, goto the DMV and get them to re-test it to check for legality, get a slip from them. Take that slip to the DA and show them to get the ticket dropped.
Thing is, the effing DA never asked to see the slip from the DMV. He just asked if i removed it and dropped the charge.
Im debating on getting the 20% slapped back on and just chance it again. :shrugs:

I think you should get 50% all around. They'll be darker than just stock but not too dark that they should be turning the heads of police..

yo o8tc you get pulled over by sheriffs? LOL those are the _____es that got me. But they wouldn't have if I didn't do something stupid first lol. But yea, just leave the rear 3 on....in the summer...u have ur windows rolled down all the way...it doesn't look that bad. Court will be fine, just show up and say you took them off and I'm sure they'll be like w/e peace. I didn't even have to show my pictures that I took them off. IL is pretty ___ tho about the tint laws.

If no front tint is the law in your state, I assume everybody with any tint will have no front tint- so it's not like it's uncool.
I say take the tint off the front windows, but leave it on the quarters and rear. If you enter in a car show, just roll the windows down. ;)
