Default Will i get pulled over, for this?

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a "BLUE" side light overlay.. I was wondering, will I get pulled over by the cops if it's Blue..

By law, they can if that's what you're asking. Depends on the state and the cop on what they want to do though.

you would probably get pulled over for something else first, but then again there are those select few that are just extra lucky...

ehh.. im sure the light is still going to be orange so i wouldnt worry about it.

i have a blue 3rd brakelight overlay and the light is still red, so the cop cant really say anything.. however hte whole car is blue, so it may be different as you cant really tell its an overlay, you would think its from the factory

^^^ NO you wont get pulled over. I know who made these. First of all when it lights up.... it still lights album. It's only blue the way it was made. It will still shine amber when you turn it on.

So long as it is not blue when lit, it should be OK, but it may annoy an officer enough for him/her to look for something else ...

Is it just me, or should it NOT be illegal regardless? They're supplementary lights, meaning they are not required by law. You don't have to have mirror signals. I don't get it...

If it changes the color of the ammber marker you can get pulled over.... you have to have a amber marker... Its a DOT law now

That particular amber marker just ahead of the mirror, on the fender, is NOT one required by the FMVSS unless your vehicle is over 30 feet long...

On the xB it's just an extra, and doesn't really have to be any specific color, but it should NOT be green, red, or blue.

Also, that particular light is NOT a reflector on the xB.

Again, just as long as it LIGHTS UP amber, there should be no problem, legally.

you shouldnt get pulled, only by nitpicky cops, and even at that just turn on your lights to show they are still orange. still kinda applies to the tinted cornerlights, mine still show orange when the lights are lit.

and yeah xtony.. theres alotta stuff that should be legal but isnt

Your 'corners' are legally required to be amber reflectors (not just lamps) at the front side marker...red at the rear and rear side marker (six total).

ah yes that is one good thing about Guam. Cops really only pull you over for speeding and then they turn out to be related or your father knows there dad or whatever...basically no ticket. I wish the would pull over for glaring headlights thought! dang must wear shades at night!
