Default 09 Tc Injen CAI install

Does the front bumper cover really need to be removed for this install? From looking at the instructions, it looks like you can get away with just removing the front left tire and the splash guard. Has anyone tried this or think it could work?

It would be easier if you do. Not required, but easier. Thing is, the bumper is so easy to remove, it would be dumb to not remove it.

man taking the bumper off takes under 10 minutes and fighting the wheel well will take a good hour, also be prepared to loosen the fender as the mount bracket on the tube can dent out the fender when you push up to install.........probably the hardest intake to install cause it is so thick.
