i have a neon with a performance cam gear K&N cone filter and msd ignition with 8.5mm wires do you think i can beat a stock tc just wondering.

 

I dont think it would, although it probably be close. The torque on the Tc is what will get ya.

 

this is becoming a ricer board...research on the cars
neon 132@5600 hp 130@4600 tq 2626 lbs
to power to weight ratio is 0.050 (the higher the number the faster the car)
commpared to our Tc which is 160hp to
2900lbs of weight .055 although its not much of a difference we still have the advantage. this method i use doesnt measure tq which does make the difference also but its a nice guildline

tCs aren't built to race, it's more of a luxury car...

 

seing the scionspeed tc made me change my mind about the tc being a race capible car

 

and in all fairness, honda's with the exception of a few i.e. preludes, s2000 are ment to be fuel economic passenger vehicles. You know that is what makes tuning fun. Its more impressive to get 500 hp from a small economy engine, than it is to get 700 hp from a large performance engine. just my .02.
