2006 TC w/41k miles, engine started fairly loud rattle at idle and the oil is at the full mark. I have heard of loose water pumps, water pump bearings going out and also balancer shaft bearings going out. My daughter does not drive her car hard and she changes oil often. Any ideas? Jeff

 

Hard to determine without hearing it but I had a rattle from mine with only 18K on it. Changed the belt and it seemed to have been the belt tensioner that was rattling.
