When I watched those videos last year it inspired me to do the N/A build Pete! I will say that I'm having a lot of fun with the build and I'm looking forward to having it completed hopefully by the end of the racing season this year. I would've had it completed but I just got married 3/27/10, have an 7 month old (8/9/10) and another on the way (projected 8/16/11), also about to buy a house within the next couple months! With all I have going on the build is coming along slowly but I'm making progress! You and Jimmy have put out some very good information to help us N/A guys get the most out of our motors without spending an enormous amount of money and its definitely appreciated!

How much gains did you get out of it do you feel a pretty good power gain? Also all i pretty much have to do is just change the bored on the TB? Has any one made a DIY yet?

Just received my BC springs & retainers today and also purchased the BC stage 2 turbo cams so those should be arriving next week! I'm definitely going to be paying attention to see the difference when you add those cams to your motor Jimmy! Looking forward to seeing those dyno #'s!

i know im going to see some gains, but i dont think they will be significant. i think that significant gains will be seen once i get an engine management that can crontol vvti, spark timing, raise rev limiter, etc...

with out proper vvti tuning you wont see to much gain. but ill be happy if i get 5whp without doing anything to vvti... for the moment

Are you actually making hp over 6k rpm? Ive dyno'd a few times and I've notice my hp falling off at 5800-6k rpm. what rpm does your hp fall of at?

they dont fall out at all. if i had the car reving higher i could tell when they fall, 05-06 tc rev limit is at 6,200rpm. mine makes power up to those rpm. i think is because of the p&p head, wpn r intake mani.

Do you think it would be possible to install the Rx-8 TB to the oem intake mani? And the Weapon R intake Mani i wanted to get one but do you think its worth that cash? Oh and do you have to drop your engine to install the new manifold to me it looks like there isn't any room to work its right now the firewall.

it can be done on the oem manifold, maxhughes did it with some kind of tb spacer that he fabricated. i really cant elaborate more on it because i havent done it on the oem mani. so if you want more info on how to do it on the oem mani contact maxhughes.

a lot of people will say that the weapon r i take manifold is to expensive for the gains you get. other people like me will say that you have to pay to play & every bit counts. as to installing it with the engine in the car, is a pain in the butt but its doable. thats the way i did it.
