Default 3S-GTE head on a 2AZ-FE - Possible?

You guys think it would be possible for a 3S-GTE head to be fitted onto a 2AZ-FE. It's been done before on 5S-FE's to make it a 2.2L 3S-GTE or as some people call it a 5S-GTE.
I'm just trying to spark up interest in this idea since the "F" head on the 2AZ-FE is crap and would be better suited with a "G" head. Although some complications might be the fact that they're different engine series.
The pistons might hit the valves. And a custom timing belt/chain that can be fitted onto the engine. I dunno, just a thought.

With enough money, anything is possible. Hell, I could fit Viper heads (for all 10 cylinders) onto my 1NZ-FE if I through enough money at it.

Kind of off subject but last post mentioned extrude honing. Hands down best bang for buck but (a big but) I lost alot of top end on the last car I did it on. I would only recommend extrude honing the intake manifold and heads if planning on doing one of 2 things, cams with a change in timing and some type of ignition upgrade, or Forced induction. I used a company called extrude hone which was out of Penn. Cost me around $650 for a 2 piece intake manifold extrude with gasket maching, and rounded off flanges.

I'm starting to feel anyone, like myself, who is more concerned with going fast that looking cute isn't exactly welcome...even in the power hungry forum. Imagine that!! When I saw "power hungry" I thought the posts would be more ambitious than bolting on an intake or an axleback exhaust(i.e. overpriced muffler)

I'm not sure that a 3s head will fit on the 2az. I figure the bore of the 2az might be a little large. Tomorrow when I get home, I'm going out to my garage and grabbing one of the heads out there to see what it'll look like. Actually, if my b/f gets a 2az in on sludge campaign(they've only had one) i'll see if he can hold the block aside and take one of our 3s heads to work with him. If it doesn't look good, I'm sure some extrude-hone or even porting will help...though if you go forced induction, that won't matter much. If I find that after porting it still doesn't flow well, I'm likely going to have a sheetmetal intake made. Flows great, but one good backfire and you'll be looking for a Bud Light can and pop rivets
Thanks. It'll be much easier if there would be a 2AZ-GE engine to grab the head off of but there is none, not that I know of.

I have heard there is a Honda DOHC Head will fit on the 2AZ-FE but not for sure which one.
Its supposed to have a big HP increase. I have been trying to find out which one but haven't found anything in it.

where did you hear about this? If someone is claiming horsepower gains I'm sure it would definitely be very well documented what head was swapped. I have never heard if someone swapping a honda head or any head on a 2az
