Default AC not working

So I thought my AC wasnt working right because the turbo downpipe is really close to the compressor..... So I wrapped both AC lines coming to and from the compressor with a heat shielding tape..... And its not any better. Theres a tiny bit of cooling, but not really much at all. You think its possible for the refrigerent to be low after 2 years? Any suggestions? How can i check to see if the pressure has dropped?

Most likely you've got a (freon) leak possibly caused during the turbo install. Somebody must've hit one of the AC lines. Other than taking your car to the dealer/AC shop for them to hook it up to a machine to check the pressure, you can try spraying soapy water along the AC lines (esp on where they connect/screw on to something) to confirm the leak. I assume the AC fan's still working. Anyhow, GL!
