I heard the injen is suppose to put out around 11 and same with the K&N. I heard the Weapon R is suppose to put out around 13. And who the hell knows when the AEM is coming out. Can anyone back these numbers up with dynos or accurate 0-60 times before and after the intake.

These numbers seem really off to me

Doesn't K&N produce 6hp
Weapon R SW 6hp

not sure about the others, but 11hp seems to be alot just for an intake

You're both probably right. K&N and Weapon R produce 6WHP, so saying they produce 11-13hp is probably right if he ment at the crank.

I have the AEM intake right now. K&N is sending me the Typhoon (should be here any day). As soon as it gets here, and I find someone to help install it, I'll post on here and let you all know how much, if any, difference there is.

I should be getting my Injen intake put on this week as well and I'll report back. I was hoping to get a before and after dyno done but I don't think that will happen.

Just got my Typhoon dropped off by UPS. As soon as I can get someone over here with 2 good hands and 2 good feet to help me install it I'll let you all know if there is any difference.

you have the AEM intake for the xb right? this is the "power hungry (TC)" board. so what ever the gains are with the xb have nothing to do with the tc.

(disclaimer i'm not trying to flame you, just wondering why you are posting about xb intakes in the tc section)

Getting K&N as soon as it comes off backorder...
as far as getting hydrolocked, i heard you practically hafta drive into a lake., I wouldn't worry about it too much, just dont drive into any severely flooded places where your grill might be submerged completely. I mean, you shouldnt do that anyways.

My buddy just got a silver K&N Intake from vividracing, picked it up locally, they have like 10 in stock from what he told me, might want to give them a call.
