Default All Motor tC!

After hearing the Turbo & S/C being talked about constantly in SL, its driving me to be different from the pack..
Its uncertain what the exact potential of an ALL MOTOR tC will be, however the potential is there...
According to engine specs, anyone know what the engine can potentially achieve when utilizing an "ENHANCED" ALL MOTOR configuration?

no to hurt ur dreams or wutever, but i know alot of tC owners who are not going with Turbo/SC and doing all motor work, so u won't be that different

and a all-motor NA setup will net you what, in whp? (best estimates)

No offense taken bandit, I'm sure there're going to be plenty of people going in all directions of mods... It just seems to be that Turbo/S\C are the talk of the town, and to go all motor is not talked about as those are..

Incase u've never fully built a F.I. car before, all those parts + a Ton more will be needed on F.I. cars eventually. Sure U can build one without those parts, but how long will it last without blowning?.. and how much will it actually boost ur ride without engine mods? I'm not counting the TRD S/C because its focus is to be street legal with a warranty and regulated potential.
If you really look at it, it'll actually cost more for a fully built F.I. to be done correctly than it would for an All Motor.

I love how everyone talks about wanting a turbo or supercharger but I guarantee half of em dont even understand how a turbo works(I said half of em so dont get offended or take it personal)...they just like the bov sound. This is what really ____es me off. All these kids have no idea what they are geting themselves into and the minute there is the slightest of problems, they dont have a clue on where to begin. I think a lot of peole are biting off more than they can chew when it comes to f/i and are not ready to deal with the problems if they arise. I have a feeling theres gonna be a lot of tC's sittin in kids driveways with blown motors and no money to fix it cause they spent their life savings on a turbo kit. Sorry for the ranting on it just ____es me off that people dont think before they act.

350whp is about 415hp at the crank... i don't think you're going to get that on the 2az-fe without boost

I wish! The tC would kill the market if it had that option. Off topic but the two thing Toyota/Scion needs to add to the tC are 6sp and navigation system. All the other sport coupes are starting to offer them, why not Scion?

Back on topic. An all motor setup would be very nice/cool, but the tC is limited to just bolt-ons at the moment granted you don't go custom.

I agree. A more realistic number would be 260 at the wheels. On an N/A 4cylinder daily driver that runs on pump gas, I'd take that number anyday.

On the 2AZ? I hardly imagine our engines need a stroker kit. The best you can do is a .1 over bore to make a 2.5l engine. The stroke on the 2AZ is pretty long as is.

I just love how the scion tc is growing, i remember when i first signed up to this website, and everyone bashed the kid that asked if i can make my tc fast. lol
But it is true that the tc has potential, i personally am going f/i but i am waiting a good 8 to 9 months to see all the testing and tuning.
