i think you guys should've called nexus first instead of bad mouthing the product, just because the product did not fit properly the first time. i think nexus has great customer service, and thier customer service reps are friendly. i would recomend them anytime and their products! my headers are coming in by thursday, i will keep everyone updated with pictures.

I have talked to nexus 4-5 times and they are good guys..really knowledgeable and friendly..I tried alternate configurations to installing the header and I realize all cars are not built the same..the header just did not fit as well on my specific car..I was not badmouthing their product or their company..I was also just saying it took them 3 weeks to send out the o2 sim when they told me it would ship out on this date or that date..I guess there was a miscommunication... I thought that they would contact me to let me know if there were any problems in manufacturing the o2 sim or problems with shipping but each time I was the one to contact them...the alphawerks header is a great product and I have no complaints about it and I am looking forward to purchasing their full catback system once it is available.

word...i have also purchased the o2 sim card. carlos is a great guy and know what he is talking about. i hope people on here do not get discouraged about alphawerks. i would rather go with a quality product than a product that is mass produced with no quality.

Hey guys...on the sound of the headers please make sure that the following doesnt happen to you, because it may be the source of many a sound issue...if the following below is not your problem then it is a lack of resonation in the exhaust which is what amplifies the sound...

The following is a quote Phillip Howell Pres. of So-Cal tC Club and a winner of the Alphawerks Header Sponsorship...

"Ok my header is installed and running well as of today. Yesterday was a slightly different story as the mechanic at the shop I went to neglected to take the lower flange gasket off of the old header and put it on the new one (the half moon gasket that allows the header and down pipe to fit together properly). He couldn't seem to figure out why the header was leaking at the bottom and so the shop was prepared to start some major work to fix it. After taking it home I reviewed the old header and realized what they had missed and took it back this morning. They put the gasket in and all is fine."

i can vouch for that, i was there when the install happened,

before the extra gasket and after the extra gasket.

and for those who are waiting for product or reply from AW, give them some slack and call them back in a few hrs if they said they will call you back or if you have a problem.

those guys are really busy making sure they get a good and clean product out there. i truly believe these guys know wat they are doing and i trust them.

side question: hows SCION SPEED doing? turbo kits out yet?

word
most people are not patient enough. they start lashing out when things dont go right. i deal with the public on a everyday basis. i would say 80% of my customers are like that, and the other 20% are the ones that actually apreciate your service and keep coming back.
