anyone have or know of a place that has sound clips with afw headers?

 

with or without stock exhaust?

i have DC headers.... they sound crappy if you dont drive it for awhile or starting up the car in cold weather. it sounds like a rattle from the outside

its not loud buddy, only if your racing goin 20mph and up. your not gonna rev the engine up at stop and expect someone to hear it


theres a tc vs Lancer video i think and the tC had headers, if you ever find it or seen it thats exactly how it sounds when you race..


if you want sound, got for exhaust... but you notice performance with headers..

 

i want a freaking sound clip of something sheet!!!!!!

btw i have the injen axleback exhaust, anyone with headers PLEAST POST OR LINK TO A SOUND CLIP

i believe it's stock exhaust with just alphawerks. same rattling noise that i have with mine

Thanks for the vids. Didn't sound as bad as i thought they would. But you should do a video with the car passing by at full throtle. Oh and i noticed that in one of the vids the car hadn't warmed up yet.

i just got aw header with k&n cai and atock exhaust it doesnt sound any differnt at all . all i hear is my cai but when the car is a lil cold and ur high rpm u hear a lil tingy noise that sounds really cool but it goes away after like 1 min ..... iill try and make a sound clip but ur not gunna hear the headers very much at all! O and it makes u haul ___ !

at idle... does the header make any noise at all?

cuz it seems like the injen exhaust would drown out the sound of the headers when u give it gas

 

It's not header's sound + the exhaust note. The header changes the sound of the exhaust itself.

hahaitzskippy AW header sounds like my DC, except DC has a slight rattle sound...

pretty much both headers sound alike but DC has that rattle noise when first start driving...

 

you guys can customly install an exhaust... just buy an APEXi muffler and have it chopped, wielded on at the shop.

APEXi has a really good muffler. random people been telling me APEXi muffler is the best sound you can get if your worried about the ricey sound. ive heard alot of APEXi exhausts, they are quite good..
