Default anyone noticed this?

so my car is in nuetral. if i push the shifter towards the 1st gear spot(not all the way in) my car starts to move ever so slightly... any suggestions?

uh...because its starting to go into gear why is that odd? go to howstuffworks.com and search on how a tranny works then maybe you wont be so surprised.

eh, my car does the same..... I found it odd at 1st b/c this is the only manual car I have driven that does that. And it only occurs the 1st and 2nd times I put it into 1st after start up.

its the sncros grabbing the gear, our cars, have two or three of them on 1st and second

wtf is so funny?? ive never noticed this on any other car i have driven. keep your fuc#$^% mouth shut unless u got something positive to say

I think it's a normal thing. My car does the same...but I don't see a reason why you would move to 1st gear without utilizing the clutch..

mine didnt do it until about 5000 miles. or thats just when i first noticed it

howstuffworks.com like i said before.

it desnt do it on your other cars because toyota has surprisingly strong syncros
