So much $ for just a axleback..looks nice though, and I'm sure it sounds good.

I doubt you gained much HP from just a axle back though

Nice purchase overall, and enjoy it.

It's HKS quality, not an eBay special... Name one exhaust from HKS that lists less than $400, regardless of the car... You've got a whole 4 of them, one for a Hyundai, one for a Chrysler and two for a Mazda. That's 4 exhausts out of probably 100+ that they make... And 400 bucks, that's nothing compared to some. I've got two 350Z's sitting here that the customers just put $1,895.00 HKS exhausts on...

We're talkin about a brand new exhaust for a relatively brand new vehicle on the market that is being sold for nearly 25% off list and still under 400 bucks shipped; c'mon, you've gotta admit, axleback or not thats awesome...

Even the GReddy is a hundred bucks more than this for nearly the same amount of piping, and is it's a rear section as well! I'd pick HKS over GReddy any day of the week for exhaust. The HKS rear section for the IS300 is producing 13 HP over stock and takes all of 20 minutes to install; talk about R&D...

Any way I might be able to see the dyno for that?

Is that 13 'Crank' HP, that's a little more believable. Unless the stock exhaust on the IS300 is really that restrictive.

There is no way in hell its 13 whp, so it has to be crank hp. Still though, 13 crank hp from an axle back? As you said, the stock exhaust must be really restrictive to get gains like this. I want to see the dyno though.

I like that, looks nice. Does it rub against the bumper? It looks like it might from the pic. Can't wait to hear it.

Where is anything in the post sound like hate? If anything, he is skeptical. That's all!

Sure, call HKS, see if they have one... They've verified that number over the phone quite a few times to us dealers because of so many questions surrounding it... Whats more, the IS300 exhaust is 50 state legal from what I remember... <Master P uhhhhh sound>, gotta love HKS.

What's the dyno going to prove if you don't want to hear it in the first place... Besides, it's an IS300, which for one has a 2JZ engine, much different than the Scion... My point wasn't for everyone to ****** up the 13 hp figure from the post, it was something totally different that obviously is overlooked by readers of this thread.

This is a frivolous topic at this point, so back to looking at the pictures and listening to sound clips.

Please everyone, I want to make it completely clear that I am not hating on either this product, or those who buy it. I would like to thank Harman for defending me, he is right on the money. I am very skepticle when it comes to products that are relatively simple but claim substantial gains. When considering performance parts for purchase, I first like to see proof via a dyno. But as I said earlier, I'm not in any way saying anyone is stupid for buying this product, or saying that the product isn't worth the price it is being offered for.

HOLLY S***!!!!!!!!! THE EXHAUST IS F***** SWEET!!!!!!!!! EVERY AXLEBACK IS KNOWN TO BE RASPY WITH HEADERS.....THIS ONE IS NICE AND DEEP, EVEN WITH MY DC HEADERS. The first 15-20 miles, it was a little raspy at 3K+ RPM, but after doing some highway miles, it's nice and deep no matter what speed or RPM you're at. I was smiling the whole time I was driving today. THIS EXHAUST IS THE SH****** :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
