Hey I am am looking for anyone out there that is running an ARC intake because I just bought a DC Strut bar and apparently its not going it fit lol. So just seeing what you other owners have done about this.

 

It should fit. What's making you think it won't?

 

I just tried to do it and the arm of the strut bar is making contact to the top left of the ARC box. are you running a strut bar with your setup?

 

IIRC Roja is ruunin the trd strut bar, btw you have a PM

 

Hmm...see if someone will trade strut bars with you. DME, TRD, Cusco, Greddy all work for sure. I used to run a Tanabe bar, but it rubbed against the box too much, so I picked up a TRD bar.

 

dang I just got it haha. and dc strut bar is the best looking to me compared to all the others T_T

how bout you sell me the ARC box???? Then you can keep the strut bar. Ill even thro in my Fujita.

u can always buy my hotchikis front strut bar or swap with mine.

 

OP, take him up on that. I forgot to mention that the Hotchkis bar will work as well.

 

What color is the that strut bat that you have.

well i guess i am gonna go off topic on my own thread but is is possible to polish the DC Strut Bar?

 

Anything metal can be polished with enough patience and sandpaper!

 

Hmm well what i don't know is what type of metal is under the powder coat

 

It can only be aluminum or steel. Both can be polished to a near mirror finish. Look up valve cover polishing in the search menu for a DIY on the topic. That should get your gears turning about the idea. Pretty easy and simple actually. Try the magnetic trick. If the magnet sticks, its steel. If it doesn't, then it's aluminum.
