Default Ark DT-S vs. DEZOD :: Exhaust POLL

I hear nothing but great things about either one...
Both are catbacks.
Both claim high gains but would LOVE to get feedback!
Both keep things nice n quiet n DEEP.
Both look OEM.
Both will cost me around the same $$$
-Dezod: $620 + $59.70shipping = $679.70
-Ark DT-S: $659 local pickup

Don't know what to doooooooo as they both satisfy my needs I guess the deciding factor would be whp gains. What's everyone getting? What's everyones experience w/ either? Thanks in advance for your input/opions/patience

btw: YES I'll be installing w/ headers (mmw) and intake (injen) Also I plan to add a 30" resonator so as not to attract attention and to avoid waking up my baby niece...

niece:
sister if i wake the demon child:

Both are great products. But to be honest, I would just have an exhaust shop fab up a custom one instead. For $400, I got a custom turbo back (was boosted at the time) exhaust with the muffler I wanted. But if you are dead-set on either of those, go with Dezod. My buddy had it and it sounded and looked good.

are you turboed, because the exhaust (based on the price) for dezod that you have listed there is the turbo exhaust, the NA is cheaper, plus the ARK exhaust you have to cut the mid pipe and dezod there is no cutting at all.

i am not turboed but there is a supercharger in my future. i asked enrique @ dezod about that and of course he recommended the more expensive one said it would work and fit great w/the supercharger.
why no turbo? cuz i'm A/T and it's my daily driver and i need it to last foreverrrrrrr~

good to know that the ARK would need to be cut...
wouldn't i need to cut regardless to add a resonator?
maybe custom exhaust IS the way to go after all.

would anyone else like to add their .02?

the place I went to is AAA Exhaust. Here is there site:

http://www.aaaexhaust.com/index-2.html

They also do custom grilles as well. Its not really close to you, but they do great work for a great price. Ask for Pepe.

if i was pretty sure that i was gonna go turbo then i'd go straight to a turbo exhaust... but that's just me. kinda in preparation/anticipation, ya know? is that a proper way of thinking??

also i was checking out the DEZOD N/A exhaust and it says it's 3.5"... isn't that kinda big? i thought i only needed 2.5"??

here's another question... what makes each individual exhaust so special? what is it about their design that causes one to be twice as much as the other???

Bump...

Paul -> want to jump in and educate us since one of these are your product :-P

Also 3.5" was the tip not pipe diameter

The NA exhaust from dezod says "Ideal for the TRD supercharger owners, and anyone who is N/A now and looking to go turbo or s/c."

I might go this route...

Edit: Paul do you carry these exhausts (NA) in stock ?

Well I thought I might chime in since I did have the Dezod Turbo back exhaust(since I am boosted). Great sounding exhaust, keeps the oem look. Easy install. Wasn't very loud for me, but then again, being boosted makes it a little quieter.

I am sure Paul has some in stock, shoot him a PM!

Feel free to ask me any questions, I would be glad to help, and I am in Corona occasionally if ya need anything.

Here is information about ARK DT-S system installation and dyno result,. Also for the additional info, you can click on www.arkspeedracing.com

ARK advantage is keeping all the CAT installed in place.
Also improved HP and Torque. Dyno tested and proved !!
