Default ARP studs help

Im trying to find head stud kit for tCs, but there is nothing listed on ARP website . . . I know that there is a part number for a diff. car that will work for 2AZFE as well.

Does anyone know that part number? or where i can get studs?

thanks

Default Call ARP

I don't have their number handy, but if you call them they'll have the information you are looking for, or cross reference them to an existing partnumber.

You will need to do this if they don't have a kit availible:
You'll have to take one of your studs off and measure it. They'll ask you the diameter/length of the knurl section, thread pitch/size, and length. The length is where a minor problem comes into play because their studs will probably come too long. Access to a machine shop is best...

Also get ready to fork out some cash as they're quite expensive.

Hope this helps....

I do know that they are the same as a certain honda head stud but i dont remember which. ZPI used to just buy which ever honda head stud kit and relabel them as zpi arp head studs.

had same problem man...i searched for two weeks for studs...no one has them that i found...i went to the dealership and bought new ones..took the old ones out...and with locktight screwed them in till they were snug...then no more.. the factory seriously pounded the studs into the aluminum block...doing what i did gave me almost 1/8th inch. the lock tight will hold them in place... h ope this helps.

Update!

thanks to etsnet who told me where to get the studs..

i ordered from https://www.raceeng.com/p-9043-toyot...2azfe-set.aspx

tried to find the part number to order directly from ARP and save some $$$... but unfortunately no luck with that.

and about using factory studs... IDK i wouldnt trust that.i would be worried about them not holding under much more pressure than stock block.
