in order to prevent engine light, all you would need to replace is your ecm . you could use your auto harness. all you need to do is rewire reverse( remove and rewire from n/ safety switch) cut part of your harness( cut off and cap tips, gear selector 1-2-N and park, also remove solenoid connector ) you could also just jump starter switch at your n/ safety ( will over ride clutch pedal, no need to engage pedal for start up) sounds hard but its not. just takes time. and it will save you money!!!!!

okayyyy. so, i cant find a driver's side axle that says its manual.....any help?
and clutch pedal assembly. also confused about the shift linkage....is that just the cage?
if anyone can post pictures or links i will be forever grateful =]

and a quick question
if i run like greddy e-manage after the swap. you wouldn't have the problem with vins or having a manual ecu right? jw if that'd be easier got a good dealll.

thanks.

alright. your the 50,000 person to say that. congradulations. we understand you don't wanna do it, that's why we are not you. it's cheaper this way. whether you believve it or not. swapping a USED tranny is cheaper than trading in the auto for a manual.....any news on the seal lol?

^^ haha love how all the mechanical n00bs keep sayin this ^^

Aside from my clutch (expensive ___ twin disc ~$1200) I did my entire manual swap for under $1k total, and it wasnt that hard lol

I posted the ecu learning trick awhile back, ill try to find the post again.

As for the clutch bracket, start hittin salvage yards

Well ebay has the joints for under 100 and the ecu's for under 200, yes I made sure manual. But I have a feeling the engine harness is going to be hard to find maybe I'll switch mine for my buddies manual ..... hes dumb and wont notice for a week.
