Auto Tranny Build Up Guide
man you have to read every thing in the form im gessing you did not cause there another person who has it the same and is a 300 i belive. but with out upgrades the stock trans can hold 250 save if you buy from either level ten or IPT you get a 70% increse and you need to learn the car and what you can push the dyno sheet says it all man just a stock car with a turbo is not going to push over 300 hp but got to either go o IPT or level ten and check it out
thats true but in the same ponit not true depends on what your aiming for power wise and if you dont want to spend the money on the swap but either way you have to build the trans for high power and just fyi ptuning has been threw a couple of trans on there 500hp time attack monster trust me i know im all ways over there after work there but it all depends but i drive my tc daily driven at 16lb boost but im not allways on it either
How long have you been boosted with all those mods?
Does your tranny slip?
Any Videos? Dyno? WOT? crusing?
i still honestly dont think your pushing 339 with no nasty slippage.

About since last summer. And no dyno vidoes just the set up i told you and the dyno sheet and i dont even know how i found that i thought i deleted it. and no slippage what so ever i change the fluids every 10,00 miles. you really dont have to belive me im just helping people out and living proof but if you spend what i spent you will get your money worth and 5g on a trans is not cheap but does. not trying to be rude but Call IPT and pay for not even there top of the line trans for the tc and tell me the power you get.
ive put the link on here check it out

If you want to come in here with you crap about "Oh my 5 speed swap was cheaper by a lot" then go do it.
Some people wanted to stay with a auto transmission. Just like if people feel like wiping their butt with 100 dollar bills after they crap, guess what? They can. It's their money.
Everyone is so caught up with the benefits to cost ratio. Congratulations. You could do great in management. But when it comes to people's hobbies and what not, they'll spend their money on what they want. NOT what you want. Not what you think is best. Simply on what THEY WANT.
Also, some shops might not do a 5 speed swap. So unless you think that everyone has the expertise and/or access to a reputable shop like you do, they're kind of out of luck.
This is simply for the daily driver that happens to have his car boosted and is approaching that 250 whp mark and wanted to keep his car auto for whatever reason he has.
As for your original argument....
As for the numbers posted, I have no idea if that's true or what not. I'm also not going to look into it at the moment. Especially since I have things to do.
I have pushed NO where near 300 whp on either my tC or the old cb7 (90-93 accord).
What I can do.... is vouch for the excellence of IPT in their work. They definitely know what they're doing. Tcchris has bought a valve body, installed it, and posted up his own thoughts.
Ill start off i was just stating that it's a lot cheaper for someone to do a swap i'm not telling no one to build up there auto tranny if thats what you like go right ahead break records with it. i honestly wanted to do build the auto but notice how much slippage occurs once its boosted reason why i'm piecing the manual parts together. Im pretty interested in seeing a video of mauriceproductions auto boosted tc .

like I said, I don't really care to take sides. In fact I will NOT take sides.
This thread was created to simply be a resource to people should they decide that they have the intelligence to use the search function.
Now for your situation, did you notice the slipping due to a heat problem? I know most cars that are boosted with an auto transmission run a pretty decently sized transmission oil cooler.

And also im not here to give crap to anyone. But all i can say is when i revive my trans back i was supprise the power i made my self. I will make vidoes soon but as far as power i did like anyone elce would do save there lunch money lol and build my car and its not even bult to the strongest i want all i have is the head and the trans done. I cant Really go to fast untill i do the block but i know the car made good power thats all i can say.
This thread is not about man to auto swap, whats cheaper auto or man, ect. its about building up an auto tranny, parts needed, and shops that do it. next person to post anything other than that gets banned. this is your warning.
I have a semi built auto that I ran daily at 11-15psi without an issue. Now I have a built motor on the same trans and it is still kicking.
I would however suggest just going with IPT transmissions or doing the solenoid swap yourself. I have also been told that you can swap in the converter from the Camry S since it supposedly can handle a bit more power. It is not very difficult, you can pretty easily upgrade the trans yourself with a buddy in a night.

i did not boost my auto. I been saving up some money to do so but as you may already know i'm going a different route then i will go into boost.
Id like to mention that you should order the correct year valve body for your car, the valve bodies are exactly the same except for the connectors. this means that all tc valve bodies will physically bolt up but the electrical connections are different.

found out the hard way and had to cut connectors off on a few and crimp on half sized female spade connectors.

I don't have an auto...iv just turbocharged and tuned a few auto tc's...lol. Hix aka Kyle does though. Iv installed an oil cooler on mine and its pretty much the same thing as far as mounting the cooler.
Here is my oil cooler (B&M)
