Trans swap.... cost the same if not less. Of course depends on the level of build on the auto ( fully built, not valve body only)

i have a dezod s1 kit. looking to upgrade the trans but can only do one part right now. what do you think would be best for running maybe 250 260? not sure if i should get the valve body or torque upgrade for right now???

u dont need to ive been turbo about 2 years now tranny still runs great.. just get aan trans cooler, i too have a dezod kit im running 269whp n 289tq... i guess it depends how u use ur car.......

really? ok dezod says their kit comes with the cooler so if i just used that and a better fluid i will be all right? what numbers should i look at doing?

yeah ull b fine, auto Tc don't make that much power where u need to upgrade, um well when I had dezod intercooler piping n the intake I made 239whp 302tq. Now I have project import custom piping with intercooler, u should fun aem fic heard it's way better than the greedy that I have, I have the blue one

That's good, I know a guy that almost hit 300whp with the aem fic, was tuned at churche's in LA

if im not boosted, will a torque converter or valve upgrade improve anything at all? like reduce the power loss or anything?

it will shift alot smoother and quicker, I put the valve body upgrade on mine since I plan on boosting but want to make sure my tranny is up to snuff first, but I love it, I'm thinking of doing the torque converter as well but maybe not untill after I boost

well i have a nitrous kit thats almost finished installing, but was wondering what the torque converter and valve body upgrade would do for me when im not spraying....

which one makes the car shift smoother and faster? the torque converter or the valve body upgrade... and what does the other one do? also, do you have any links of where i can get either of these should i choose too?

Valve Body is Firmer Shifts, Torque Converter is basically, more power out of the same RPM's.. if you get me, haha'.
Both will help out, get the Clutch Pack Upgrade also.

I'm guessing the Clutch Packs are equivalent to an Upgraded Clutch on an Manual Transmission Car, stronger parts.

Clutch packs will make the trans hold alot more power. But to do this upgrade a trans disassemble in needed.

Ipt are good guys and have better prices they would be my first pick

ok great thanks... if i want something that will help me accelerate faster by getting a few more of the horse's that are lost from the atuo trans to the ground, which should i go with, the valve body upgrade or the torque converter? also, it will need to be able to hold up to my 65 shot of nitrous

also, on the IPT webstie, which auto trans does our TC fall under on their site?

I would go with the valve body upgrade instead of the tourqe converter. The valve body upgrade is the eaiser of the two mods and this that its more effective for what you are trying to do.

by the way. tcchris. I picked up a new Torque converter. ha ha. The valve body will come later for me.

At least I have a valve body upgrade done to my accord already.
