Dunno about AEM and stuff im mean everyone wants the best. I was gonna buy one myself. But then i tought. 200$ for a pipe. And i said it couldnt hurt so i bought the dreaded " it came from ebay" intake. And fearing the worst..........ddummmm dummm dummmm it worked just fine. They prob have more research but in the end its a pipe. But its in the brand.

Injen does have black http://www.killertc.com/product.php?...cat=256&page=1 Just select Black / 07 in the color/year drop down box. If any one has questions about install and what not PM me, my buddy and I installed mine and I love it. I have no experience with the other brands, and no offense to LostCause, but I personally would not trust an "ebay" intake. I have my reasons, mainly due to the MAF sensor, but I'm not going to flame here. Glad you like it and I hope it holds up well for ya.

So your having problems with it now? I think you just typed that wrong and didn't mean it I have to "recharge" mine, its been in two big sand/dust storms and you can see it building up in the grooves of the filter...kinda a pain to go mess with that, but oh well, gives me something to do.

For the most part, true ;) The only difference I know about Injen from the others is that it has a 3" piping and others are around 2.5" if I'm not mistaken. But I love the sound it makes when you hit 3k on the RPM range. Goes from thoaty to Hoover vacuum :D Oh, and no matter what brand of CAI you get I highly recommend Dr. Isotope's CAI fender mount. It will help prevent the stock bracket from breaking, and the CAI from moving around against the fender causing vibrations and grinding into the metal. Here's his website http://doctorisotope.com/index.php?o...d=25&Itemid=29 and this is a forum that explains some of what happened. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...i+fender+mount

i know fujita already have a 07 intake for the tc, but i would go with injen is the best one and its has the mr technology wich fixes the a/f curve. its the only dyno tuned intake in the market therefore giving you the best whp you can get. not even aem comes close to it.

No one has even mentioned the GFI? Under $100 for the whole setup...

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=160955

Uses the stock airbox, throw in a K&N drop in, take off the silencer under the airbox and replace with nicely curved 2.5" piping and your done. PM me if you want pics of my install or some sort of writeup. Everything I did was from DocI's idea.

It is pretty much the same as far as low end torque goes, no gain. As far as highway speeds and stuff, I see some gains, but as everyone knows intakes are really not good for much HP gain.

Me and my buddy just installed an INJEN cold air intake on my tC. It's awesome! I bought it at New Level Motorsports for $260!

This is a very old debate on what is a good intake. Well not trying to sound smart id like to thank for bringing this back up since now there are new products from 2 years ago. Yes Injen has been having the best dynoed numbers , but has any1 ACTUALLY installed a weapon-r intake with Cold air box AND the ram air kit? IF some1 has than please reply as i am planning to buy an intake soon since the weapon-r special ends at the end of may or suposedly.. THANKS guys

Ive got an 07 and the fujita intake is by far a good intake I've had no problems with it and it sounds great as well. I recommend this intake, to anyone who has an 07 and the install wasnt too bad, if you take the bumper off but thats not hard. the only downside to it is that it may rattle a little from time to time but just take a small piece of sponge and duct tape it over the lower mount for the stock tube that sits in the fender and you'll be fine.
