Yes the TRD CAI is really designed by AEM , i really dont understand why lol but it is. That is why for the 07 Tc's u needa personally contact AEM if u want a V2 intake from them. and yes i am pretty sure it is carb legal. The carb OE number is on it first pipe of the intake. But hey thats what i saw. Any1 can still prove me wrong . but yes i am pretty sure. Most people buy it for that fact.
