What would be the best way to keep my AEM cold air filter dry? I'm familiar with the ATV world and I once used a product that just wrapped around the filter and kept it dry but still allowed full air flow. Is there any such product for our size air filters?

 

Yes injen sells hydro-sheild pre filters which go over the filters to help repel water.

Here is what they are, you might be able to find it cheaper, and you need to look up what size the aem filter is.

 

how often do you drive through lakes? because if the answer is never you really don't need to buy that >.>

 

How often do you ask stupid questions? It rains alot where I live and I'm lowered.. I don't mind spending the $20 to make sure my precious motor doesn't suck up any sort of moisture. Better to be safe than sorry

 

agreed I have one on mine and a bypass valve just in case...better safe than 2k into a new motor sorry.
