For some reason, my brake light indicator on the gauges is flickering everytime i accelerate.. i have no idea why this is happening... Is this an electrical, wiring, or brake problem? or is it another way of telling me i need brake fluid? It tunrs on and off, it flickers whenever i turn fast or wot.. somebody help..

there's a switch where the brake handle is.... it's probably loose.. or something in it that's just causing it to trigger whenever you move..

just open and take a look.

Dont fill it.. replace your pads if it is that low. Or find the leak and THEN fill it. That light is the brake warning light, not just the e-brake. It detects low fluid, uneven brake pressure, etc. When your pads are worn low enough, the fluid will drop in level far enough to turn on the light, or sometimes only when you move the fluid around enough to trigger it (like taking off).

On mine, when the light flickered, it was time to change the pads on the front. If you fill it back up, you will spill fluid when you put on the new pads. So check your pads and replace them if needed, the level will be right where it used to be. The only way fluid level will drop is a leak or worn pads.

If it isnt the pads, check your calipers, master cylinder, etc for leaks if the fluid is low.

If the fluid isnt low, then start checking the ebrake sensor to see if that is bad.

But I would guess your pads are worn significantly

i had my pads checked at the dealer and they said i have over 50percent more left until it needs replacement... idk i might just check the wires next to the handbrake, cause i did mess with it when i installed the short shifter..
