that's interesting. 7HP gain. the whole set pulley should gain more isn't it? well, that's what i will do next.

It does giev more than 7hp. I'm talking about just swapping out the stock crank pulley......having the alt and water pump pulley added will give even more than 7hp. not sure how much though for that.

I looked at the stock pulley on my car today and it looks more complicate than i thought lol. well, I guess i will just replace the crank pulley first and see how it goes then might do the rest.

the 20% underdrive is technically better cause it uses other power from other stuff to pwoer the pulley. but it causes malfunctions with like the a/c and other stuff.

I have the light weight pulley and i love it. just put on and enojy!

the 20% requires a different belt other than the stock one, unlike the light weight pulley where you can use the stock belt.

so the 20% in my opinion is not worth it, yeah it frees up a couple more horseys but requires way more work.

Yea i think pulleys are the best bang for your buck if your going N/A. You can get a crank pulley for like 130. I have the agency power crank pulley. They claim 10hp 11tq gain and i believe they have a dyno to back it up. As soon as i got it put on i definately noticed a increase in acceleration and throttle response.

Coming from a guy who has done everything to his tC(second set of springs(coilovers now), second set of sways, turboed, before had all NA mods but internal, and now tranmission upgrades) the best/most fun things are the suspension mods. If you live in a curvy area, sways and springs/coilovers are the s___!

But if you want power, Turbo is the best. N/A mods give you a nice power band, but turbo is where the money is at. Extra 100+ hp for about $4000 ish. But get help unless you know a lot about cars, and a lot about the tC specifically. I was able to tune my own car, but it was/is a lot of work.

But good luck and happy modding.

The reason this is is because most people start out just getting this cause it's the BIGGEST jump in HP and TQ when replacing pulleys. Eventually people get around to buying the other 2 pulleys after buying the main crank pulley. But replacing the main crank pulley is the beginning step so....

I'm still soon getting the water pump pulley and alt. pulley.

NST FTW!
