a resonator is a chamber in the midpipe, that "resonates" sound duh!, lol its suposed to take away high pitch sound, IE rasp. The longer the resonator the more effective it is. I personally have heard stock Tc's with just evo or hks. and i prefer the evo2, HKS is a bombass company but that axleback already doesnt sound deep enough. anyway its your preference.

Yeah megan is very cheap, Its a good price becuase you actually get a midpipe and the axleback, remember to know wat you are buying becuase most sites dont kno what the exhaust is called, Like for us thers no real thing as a catback, besides maybe ARK, because our cat is welded onto the midpipe, soo the only real exhaust would be called spipeback.. Like how the site claims that the greddy was REAR SECTION ONLY that would mean, its just the axleback, and if you knew this already then excuse me.

hks makes only axle back for our cars... so the mid pipe is untouched..

but u can get an axle back and have a custom midpipe..

Yeah the hks and evo2 are just axlebacks, If you're asking how well does the muffler resonate? both are straight thru mufflers, which wont handle well to rasp caused by aftermarket headers.

It should sound fine, with just an axleback, if you get new headers, you might need to add a resonator, or get a new custom midpipe with a long resonator. Just install the axleback and see how u like it then.

Its not hard to do at all. Putting my skunk2 on took me about 2 hours... and that was on jack stands in my garage. The install is SO much easier if you get an aftermarket spipe at the same time. I had to drill out my stock spipe so the bolts for the flanges would fit. (thats why it took me so long. I'd say 45 minutes - hour if you know what your doing, you have an spipe in addition to your spipe back, and your bolts arent all rusted .

Yeah...depends on how much of an exhaust you get.
If you just get an axle back, it'll take you 20 mins. Catbacks will add another 10 mins. If you get one with an S-pipe it will take you a bit longer cause you have to transfer the secondary 02 sensor.

Seriously, just get under your car and look at the exhaust. You will see a couple bolts and a couple rubber hangers...thats it!
