Well i actually would suggest u too install it yurself. ITs not really that hard. You could learn about how yur exhaust is, and save about 40 -80 bucks? If you dont mind then having a shop install yur system is cool, especially if u get tsudo's since most of the time the fitment is a lil hard. And i havent heard from tsudo have s pipes? Do you mean spipe back. Well try checking out other companys if you have cash. Tsudo is coo n all, i would just prefer another company. As in borla or dezod or wtv.

 

Im stuck between three exhausts to choose from, TRD , borla, and the tanabe concept g. Grr not sure which to choose, all of them sound great!

 

I don't know for sure, but I think TRD is the rebadged Borla. Those 2 are a little more stock looking and on the quiet side. The Tanabe Concept G is the canister style exhaust that is loud, but not too loud. I have to Tanabe exhaust and I love it. You can hold conversations in your car with people and not have the feeling of yelling over your exhaust. Plus, once you get going at a stable speed, the exhaust quiets down. The nice thing about the Tanabe is that there is hardly any drone at constant speed, such as on the freeway. I would definitely recommend the Concept G to you if you want a visibly aftermarket exhaust, but want the refined noise levels.

Yeah Tanabe is good, but u needa decide what you wanna do later on. Are you planning to change the Spipe and Midpipe? Or adding an A/F header? The concept G sounds really sweet but the sound will probably negatively change when you mod it. The Tanabe Medallion Touring on the other hand has a better sound tolerance.

 

Not sure if im going to add any piping or headers yet since im only 17 and going to college soon. Just want to have a nice sounding tc.

Only thing that worries me is that the tanabe exhaust will sound like a fart can, like those exhausts ricers have on. Hope im wrong.

 

ya i wouldnt mind installing myself i got some buddys who know how to work on trucks prety good so they could help. and not sure bout the s pipe thing dont really know tbh. but ya i got the cash but im cheap i just want a diff sound lets not lie to ourselves were driving a 3000lb econobox :/ it looks better than all the other econoboxs though :D

well you would need to search for that answer, But like i said if you just want an improved exhaust sound, get the concept G, if you're going to change the midpipe and header, get the medallion touring. I tried both.

If anyone is looking for an exhaust go with a magnaflow exhaust cat back system. you can go on their website and preview the sound my personal use and opinion would say that this is the best on the market and the best buy. Its all stainless steel cat back and it does not sound like those damn ricer hondas out their if you want a good deep aggressive sound and do not want your tc to sound like crap fork up the money and get a good quality exhaust. and plus their exhausts are all direct oem fit they use the stock hanger mounts and bolts on in about a half hour with the help of your buddy. trust me dont go with any other brand!

 

yeah, burnt Titanium tip is what i meant, how do u like it, i personnally think it looks very nice and clean, hows the sound?

 

Yeah, except the magna flow is not 2.5 all the way through. Some parts are 2.5, some are 2.25, and then the tip gets even wider. I'd prefer a system that is 2.5 all the way through.

 

I personally like The Megan OE sound of the exhaust before header it had alil pur after the header was installed it had alil rasp but not to bad but i love it personally

Hi guys..accually i am new to the exhaust thing and all that...so i saved up some money to buy an exhaust system and i am not sure which one to get..so i need help and seach, reading, and viewing videos of the exhausts for tC. i chose - HKS Hi-Power exhaust, Tanabe Concept G, and GReddy EVO2. and Now i can't decide which i want. And i am not really worried about HP gain...i just want nice mid - loud exhaust sound. so if u guys have any recommendations or any comment and please reply.
and if u guys like other exhaust systems beside what i have in the list please feel free to tell!!!

If you dont want headers, just get the evo2 , the greddy evo2 sounds so sweeetttt plus the canister itself looks nice. If you get headers with the evo2 just save up money to get a resonator welded onto yur stock midpipe or a custom midpipe with atleast 20" resonator.

ok so you thing the Greddy EVO2 would be fine and it does'nt make that much power than HKS...accually i have seen many tC's with HKS exhaust and they sound sweet too
so another question what is Resonator...i have read this in alot of thread but don't know what it mean!!
