What’s up, everyone! New to the group. So I have a 07 Scion TC. And I had my water pump done as well as my coils changed out due to a misfire. So now that it’s warming up I went to put my ac on. Notice it was blowing warm air and I do not hear the compressor turning on. I went and looked underneath the hood and found this wire and been warned and given away. Wondering if this is my ac issue any help would be great on how to replace this or if I can just connect the wires and use some electrical tape? Thanks, I’m in advance!
I don't want to say yes and have you have an electrical fire.. but if the wiring is in the same area and same color casing then you should be able to reattach them with electrical tape and test. As a disclaimer be ready to disconnect the battery though just in case something catastrophic happens. I'd look into a more proper solution after you verify that is the issue. Electrical tape is good but any electrical wiring should be repaired properly to avoid a fire.
