huge cams work best on long runner exh manifolds, and better yet on properly divided setups.
joe your right on this one. (figured its you cause your bro dont post much anymore )
but most cams cause the tC to lose power going turbo.

the disable vvt-i would due to the AEM stand alone and also the cams, and 320whp being N/A is a beast.

make sure you check all your stuff before trying to install it. An RSXer recently got his BC stroker kit being installed, and Brian did NOT include the wrist pins. they were in the middle of an install. Called Brian up and tried to make the owner pay an extra $50 for it when its supposed to be included. Luckily, the installer had an extra set to spare. but results are still pending.

its about time the tC get some real motor folks making things.
I am stroking it out I believe we are discussing 102mm stroke. Bore going up to 89 mm so almost 2.6 liters. Brian and I have a great working relationship and I'm sure I will have great luck with his kit. I am using Hydra standaline with full drive by wire control for engine management. It si plug and play and speed density. AEM is okay but didn't feel like converting to drive by cable. As for the head flow just by looking at the HP chart on the dyno no the head doesn't flow that great. Part of it may be the small cams but it is definately designed for torque and not HP. I'd like to change that.

Depends. ERL recommends max bore of 89mm for boost on their sleeves. On NA you can probably go bigger but I did not inquire.

Spending that much for an all motor Tc seems kind of insane if you ask me. Sleeving from ERL is NOT cheap. More than rods and pistons.

I am wondering too. I was thinking about this the other day. And I hope Brian gets those cams out in the next 3 months because it would give me all the more reason to keep the tC N/A.

Thank you,

What do you think!?
Guys, remember this post about a year ago?

Read my new email to them:

soros151:
One year later.... :D Just wanted to know if you have progressed with this.

Brian Crower:

Sorry about the estimate…we’re still waiting on the 2JZ and Subaru cams, but the 2AZFE are next. I don’t want to get pinched on delivery again, but it will be at some point in the Summer.

Thank you,

Brian

Even thou, I don't have tC anymore, I try to still be behind it. So I emailed them to see how everything was going. Just an update. :D
