The tC uses a coil-on-plug, distributor-less system. Upgrading the plug wires would be a serious waste of money unless you plan to be putting out 500+HP with a turbo.

I think you can install just the MSD box itself and they have instructions on how to do it with a coil on plug system. If it makes a difference on a tC, your guess is as good as mine. You might want to look at nology wires......they are the coil on plug style. They are like 198.00 bucks they MIGHT give you a couple ponies at the high rpm.......they claim faster starting better gas milage bla bla bla.....May want to check them out. Any body acutally have these?

There was a thread on these. I think CreativeCompacts got them and noticed 0 performance gains from them.

yeah the nology wires do convert it you a plug w/ wire to your stcok coils mounted remotelty... it will burn your fuel more effeciently and an msd may help some... i believe they work for distributor and distributorless

I would spend the money taking weight off the car instead, you will be a far better real performance gain instead of eye candy dead weight with very very little if any increase in performance.

Take a look at what all the resonably reliable boost range streetable turbo systems shops are doing before jumping on the wrong bandwagon;)

yeah, I think you can get the DIS-4 box or any of the Distributor-less Ignition System boxes. whether or not they help, I dunno.
