Default cel once again......

i have this tsudo header for about 8months now. i love the header and i bought from speedelement. when i got this header it came with a 90 degree antifouler. since i got it i never had any cel problems. i only get the cel when i go more than 60 mph on the freeway. when this cel goes on i just do the reset thing with the battery. back then i don't really drive so much in the freeway but with the job location it's mostly freeways now.
anybody have this issue with the 90degree antifouler. i don't want to reset the ecu everyday. any inputs guys and gals r very welcome. thanks..........

Just dont worry about the cel then. When it comes time to get inspected clear it. Thats my opinion

Check your PCV valve.......could be loose.....check the gasket, could be gettign air into the pipe and causing cel, check welds, could have a broken one, check airfilter, check defouler and make sure it is tight.

also did anyone tap a regular antifouler with the 90degree? Will that fit? Do I have to do any other mod to make it happened.

a anti fouler will fit on the L fouler.jsut barely, but my guess is it might be loose or even the PCV on the valve cover is loose.....once you get the code it will narrow it down, but our buddy had a lose PCV valve and it threw the bad cat cel everyone gets and after taking his exhaust 10 times just happened to notic eit was loose, tightend and it worked good as new.

it is ok to let the cel run a few days.......if it is the fouler,it wont hurt anything.

have you actually pulled the code for the CEL? are you absolutely sure it is a CEL for a deficient cat or something else?

the answer to that is no. When I installed my header the cel came on. The antifouler wasn't installed at this time. The next day I came back for the antifouler that I was promised to get. When I installed it I reseted the ecu and the cel was gone. I noticed the cel came on after about 1 week and 100 miles on the freeway. I reset the ecu again . The cel was of. Like I said before I hardly go on the freeway. On the side street there r times I will go past. 60 mph this is no traffic not racing. A quick 60 mph drive. About a month later I drove on the freeway and going past 60mph cel comes on. In my mind its the antifouler not doing its job on high speeds. But under 60 side street no problem. I never got the cel read due to the fact it only goes on the freeway.
