Well, consider these things:

1) Ground wire kits will NOT give you any noticeable performance gains. If you look at the way the cars electrical system is designed and the electronic principles behind it, it is a waste of money overall. It may help out a small amount for high powered audio setups, but that is about it.

2) The chip is a ripoff (even more than the ground wire kits). First, NEVER trust a $10 part that promises 15 - 30 hp.. that is a joke. Second, never trust a part that promises more performance, performance gains over the entire band AND more mpg.

To help you in your further quests, here are other things not to buy:

Conversions from coil on plug to conventional coils. This is a ripoff aimed at you buying the "Hot Wires" and "low resistance plugs" from the same manufacturer which will also cause you to buy new coils when it destroys them later. Coil on plug is electrically a better setup, period. If you are looking down this road, I can list off all the reasons it is better.

The "Resistor Chip" (which may be what they are trying to sell in the products you listed). It is a resistor (about 3 cents) that "tricks" your ECU... until it re-adjusts to compensate. Also a rip-off

Do some searching around scion life, there are a lot of very knowledeable people as well as those who have done a lot to thier own tCs that can shed some good light on good and bad mods for you.
