is it possible to "chip" this car like i did in my gti?...

Yes I have chirped going into 2nd once or twice when I first got it and was still getting used to it..

no he ment like a hondata and no not at the moment but one day we will be able to reflash thanks to the flashing tool that they use with the s/c


we just need some one that can program maching language and tune to make some base maps and start a buisness




but if you want to talk about chirping while shifting i can chirp in to 3rd like nothing lol and i can also spin all the way through first and a decent chunk of 2nd also

That's CHIP not chirp such as an APR Chip. it's basically a program that piggybacks your cars computer, allowing for more HP etc. by removing the speedo gov. etc. As far as the original question, google tC unichip. Any tC owners wanna take this one?

the unichip is more a piggy back then a chipped ecu but the unichip is great i would get it if i had the cash for it

i started a thread about this in F/I I think. Might wanna check it out. It appears nobody has EVER cracked a Toyota ECU. Only custom ECU's at this point I believe. Makes me sad, and almost want a honda project car

this unichip how much dose it cost and what are the gains.... and as for the guy who churped in second i have a 95 taurus daily driver that can spin the tires threw all of first and most of second... thanks to teh 3.8 lt. lol the car is stile a pile but hey i use it and abuse it so its all good
