Hey all,
Not that I think I have a problem or anything, but I am wondering what this could be...

When I accelerate hard and i'm hitting 2nd or 3rd gear, just as i'm coming off the clutch and hitting the gas, I hear what sounds like either a click or some kind of gas-release. Not that I take the movie seriously, but it is the kind of sound that I remember hearing in The Fast and The Furious when Paul Walker switches gears. Anyway, anybody know what this sound could be?? Thanks in advance!

 

I get that too sometimes, but also from 1st to 2nd. I always assumed it was from grinding the gears while I was learning to shift.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about your intake...

 

I havent seen that movie yet, but im guessing it might be ur valves when they open every time u step on the gas..... or the click when the throtle bodie opens..... who knows.....

 

the gas-release ur referring to is your K&N air filter sucking in air when u initally step on the gas and the clicking is just the sound of ur clutch engaging...all normal
