Default Clutch pedal squeak

so my clutch pedal started making a weird sound.. its barely noticeable but its a real high pitch like tapping sound. However if the clutch is pushed in about 1/4 of an inch, the sound goes away. Any ideas? Clutch isn't slipping and is fine under hard acceleration.

Throwout bearing maybe? There is a thread on here, I believe it is a sticky that explains how to lube the clutch fork, slave cyl. , throwout bearing area.

i was told it was the spring inside the car on the clutch ped that there is nothing you can do. the dealership has replaced them on other cars and it will just come back. dealership told me you get what you pay for and scions are cheap cars lol

If it is a squeak sound coming from the engine bay it is most likely just the clutch fork and it just needs to be greased.

Here is the thread on it, check it out since it might be the same issue and is easy to fix yourself.

its the throwout bearing, my car does the same thing has done it for a bout a year and ahalf now, but when its cold it goes away it starts back up when the weather gets hot and humid out. its nothing horrible but u need to grease it up sumhow but for that u might aswell should jus pay to geta new clutch. its jus really an annoyign sound. u dont even have to engage the clutch jus alittle bit and it goes away (jus that little 1/4'' of play that the clutch has before it engages)

I get it every once ans awhile but its inside the car and it is probably the clutch pedal spring. I just deal with it or turn on the music!
