Whats the exact size belt to use for an 07 Scion TC. I keep seeing conflicting things. The site has K060739 as its belt for 07-09 models, but I see so many people saying it doesnt fit or its to small. I need to know before I go buying it and losing out on 35 bux. Thanks

This is kinda on me... but when I got my NST underdrive crank pulley I installed before realizing that it was a 6, not 7 groove design. Went to the local auto parts store and tried to get resized 7 groove belt, but they didn't have the size i needed, so i got a 6 groove to put on temporarily. Then when installing, realized this 6 groove was precisely what the NST pulley was built for, so I've left it that way ever since, somewhere 'round 20k now. I could've gone about sending back but I found it strange that without knowing I ended up with a 6 groove belt so I have left it and haven't seen any problems, and performancewise found this to be the most, if not only, noticeable upgrade in power to the wheels. Just curious, there's no issue with leaving my setup this way is there?

The NST Underdrive Crank Pulley for the tC is specifically designed for a 6rib belt, and has been this way since 2005. Every NST customer runs a 6rib belt on this pulley and no one has had any issues when the proper belt was properly installed.

We have found that the belt numbers listed on our website have consistently worked. Order the belt number that we list on our website and you will be fine.

Thanks again everyone, good luck and have fun with all your projects!

I own a full set of NST pulleys on my 07 tC. Regular size crank, water pump, and alternator. This was only the second mod I had done so I was really nervous. The NST staff was awesome at answering my questions on both AIM and email.

The pulleys are incredible; very professionally made and high quality. There is an installation thread somewhere on here, which is do-able for even a beginning DIYer like I was. Just make sure you have a good wrench set and a torque bar (breaker bar).

As far as performance, I havent had my car dyno'd yet but I will say there was a felt increase on the butt dyno. Whether its N/A or Forced Induc, Full build, or daily driver, Every tC should have this pulley set.

I sound like a spokes person for NST or something haha. But I promise Im not. Im just really pleased with their pulleys and I wanted to share with you guys. NST FTW!

I agree with the person two posts above!

I only have the CR-lite crank pulley for my 2010 tC and it was my first performance mod! i'm an auto tC and when i floored it down in the low gear i definitly could feel the pull back more than what i did stock!

I'm soon gonna complete the 3 pulley setup and buy the other 2 soon!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

Yeah. i mean if you floor it when your just in drive, you can feel it, just not as much, shift it down into the Low and shift it into the 2nd gear when neccessary and you can feel it!

Cool thanks for the info Stlsciko. I got the ETC Throttle Controller and it helps with the push, hopefully this will add on to it.

Thank you for the feedback and the post, we certainly do appreciate it!

And you don't sound like a spokes person for NST, you sound like every person who has ever installed an NST pulley kit on their tC!!!

Thanks again, good luck and have fun with all your projects!

And just as a reminder for anyone who may be interested. This link has been posted numerous times, but I will post it again here.

Roughly 40 pages of customer reviews from people who have actually used NST pulleys on their Scions. Some with over 100,000 miles now.

Feel free to read their positive real world reviews if interested...
