The COMPREHENSIVE thread on NST (NonStopTuning) Pulleys
#201
hi guys. i've made sure to read all the way through this thread to minimize any dumb questions i might have
but i wanted to ask. since i have a naturally aspirated 05 tc, i was planning on making pulleys my next bolt-on. basically, i'd like to start off with just the underdrive crank pulley and go from there. am i correct in thinking that i can buy that pulley by itself? of course id need to order the new belt too but thats not a problem. then, when money permits, i can buy the Alt and WP pulleys as well for a little more power. thanks to any replies, you guys at SL are always helpful.

You'll get all the benefits of the Underdrive Crank Pulley between now and then, and will be able to reuse that same belt in the future once you're ready to install the Alt & WP Kit.
Please feel free to look for me on AIM or contact us by phone should you have any further questions. I'd be more than happy to chat with you personally.
Good luck and have fun with all your projects!

just installed it today and im VERY impressed. my tc idles much more smoothly now, pulls harder at every speed, and puts me back in the seat like my intake never could.
once i've had it for a couple tanks of gas i'll again with my fuel savings due to it being the underdrive one. so far i am very happy with the product.
two thumbs up!

I ordered my pulley last friday an was here wensday afternoon installed it the next day in 2 hours an let me say before the pulley my first an second gear lagged in low rpms do to the 4-1 headers but with the 20% underdrive pulley my 1st an 2nd gear let those tires spin loose with out even tryin an acceleration is so much better so thanks to nst i will be buying new tires more often but i love it lol nst ftw!!!

ok so i bought a used NST crank pulley from a scion owner,i seen that it was smaller than the OEM size..i install it and next day the belt ripped..i recently bought the k060747 from NAPA..and then the belt was too short..is it that the crank pulley comes diffrent when you buy the set of 3?(smaller than the OEM size)or when you buy the crank pulley itself,it comes OEM size and you dont need a new belt?

I assume you have 05-06 tc?
Even though NST states k060747 fits I think that's when you have the whole set b/c their alternator pulley is smaller than oem which means if you still have oem alternator pulley you might need a bit longer belt than 747.
