Sadly??? Everyone that is saying this is correct! Maybe you can afford to lay down 7 or 8 bills for an inferior product but as for me, and quite a few others, it is unacceptable. I am not talking about one seperate issue but THREE!
Get used to fab'ing??? I build custom firetrucks for a living....I would say that I am plenty, "used to fab'ing"

I have an issue with the CC full exhaust as well. The pipe right after the resonator that snakes through the heat shield sits way too close to the heat shield causing it to rattle when idling. I had the exhaust shop look at it and they moved things around a little, but they determined that it is bent wrong. CC has yet to reply to any of my complaints.

I just got the CC s-pipe and it caused me nothing but problems. It caused an exhaust leak between my AW headers and s-pipe. I replaced the gasket and still leaked. Also, my O2 sensor with non-foulers was constantly rattling against bushings on the frame of my car because the location of the O2 bung in the s-pipe. Payed an extra $25 for stainless finish... Looks horrible. Welds are garbage. Never again.

Can't go with Draxas...what would I do with the $900 exhaust I have on the car? no way would I get that out of it again. I would have to take a huge loss on it. Plus I really like the sound of the CC exhaust. It is VERY quiet inside the car. Just a mild rumble under acceleration. Perfect for me.

Just disappointed with the fitment ($750 for exhaust $150 for S-Pipe = $900)

I have the DraXas exhaust with s-pipe and I love it. I just got my MMW header in today, so I'll be installing that tonight. Because the MMW s-pipe is mated with the header, I will be selling my DraXas s-pipe. I will let everyone know how the MMW header/s-pipe fits with the DraXas exhaust. I also have the TRD supercharger, so they should work well together. I am expecting good gains. I believe I am the first to run the MMW header with the TRD supercharger, so I will post results and impressions ASAP. I am as eager as you guys.

well I have figgured out what I'm going to do... I'm taking it all off and getting one custom made... I found a place that will make me a 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust (** THAT FITS PERFECT**) for only like 200 bucks more.

After almost a week of having the CC exhaust on I noticed a diffrent note as it settled. It was better ...just a little, not enough to make up for the lack of fitment and the horrid over all sound that would come after 2800RPM's. I would highly suggest finding another exhaust if you are looking for one....

I'm having the same problems w/ the cc exhaust! I had the leak at the header/s pipe and i have the rattling heat shield. It does sound really good, but I'm getting tired of having to constantly "adjust" something.

Fushyuguru: It sounds like you got a good price on a fix. Could you let me know where you got it done? I'm local.

close, but not close enough. I will have to try and find a place that does mandrel bending in Pittsburgh.

We have not got any phone calls in regards to fitment issues... so in reading these posts, I will try to respond to as many issues as possible...

Raspyness - If you dont have a resonator and you are running a header, sorry this is not our problem. We suggest the resonator on all kits to reduce the Raspyness of the exhaust.

S-pipe leaking at header - Check the bolts. Make sure they are making a tight connection. We have seen where customers have the springs still installed causing it not to seal. Check this.

Exhaust Fitment - Seems like all the exhaust fitments are only with the Cat Convertor and I will definitely look into why this is happening. Our kit on the company car is a Complete exhaust kit without the High Flow cat and our kit isn't hitting anything on our car. I will forward this thread to our bender to see what information and insight he can provide.

Thanks
James

Default More Rattles!!!

So yeah I've had the same problem as everyone else with the CC full exhaust system, I have the hi-flo cat AND the resonator. I HAD the Megan headers and s-pipe and everything SEEMED to fix ok. Well after me and my friend first put it all on, omg the car felt like it was going to fall apart....it was banging against everything underneath and rattled so loud. Took a few days of investigating and bending to fix this finally. Then i check other threads on it and ordered some longer hangers, an advice tip i got from another Scionlifer....they are from a WRX I believe. I didn't put all 4 of them on when I received them, seemed to help the problem somewhat. Only rattle I had now was in a higher rpm reverse. Something rattled underneath mid-car. Still don't know what it is....resonator maybe? It still pulls really far to the left. Probably because of the cat bending of something that James mentioned. Anyway, today I installed my MMW header and s-pipe. What a pain.....couldn't get it to fit from the engine bay, so we had to go from underneath the car and undo lots of the lines and whatever we could take off that was in the way. Finally got the headers on, they tried to fit the s-pipe to the CC exhaust, fit was OK. After installed, was greatly pleased with the new sound of the car, no more farty Honda sound. Actually sounds like it has some power....HOWEVER my hopes and dreams came crashing down when now my car vibrates and feels like its going to shake apart while driving. I think my MMW header is vibratinf off of my oil can. Anyone else experience this?? Have not taken a closer look yet, but did notice during install it came awfully close to the oil pan AND the mid frame of the car. Will have to get back underneath tomorrow. Any ideas though on the reverse rattling, and MMW banging and vibration???? Thanks.

::UPDATE::

I no longer have my CC Exhaust on. I have taken it off and gotten a Perfect sounding Perfect fitting exhaust! it sounds as a good exhaust should,

it's 2.5 header back exhaust with a cat, resonator, and a larger Magnaflow muffler. It's one of the most amazing looking pieces of piping I have ever seen. The shop I got it done at painted it with some high temp black paint at no cost to me. It was just part of the great work the shop did for me. I will be posting pictures and soundclips at a later time with my next update.

PS. I am still waiting for Creative Compacts to get back to me on the issue that I PM'd him about.
