it's 2.5 header back exhaust with a cat, resonator, and a larger Magnaflow muffler. It's one of the most amazing looking pieces of piping I have ever seen. The shop I got it done at painted it with some high temp black paint at no cost to me. It was just part of the great work the shop did for me. I will be posting pictures and soundclips at a later time with my next update.
PS. I am still waiting for Creative Compacts to get back to me on the issue that I PM'd him about.

Feels Great? Does that mean it feels stronger than any of the others did? Do you know which model # muffler you used?
I've already got all the components to do a custom magnaflow. I've just been concerned it might lose low end torque. Was quoted $700 to $1000 for mandrel install by a crook in houston and $300 for mandrel by a guy in dallas.

no, low end torque does not feel any less stronger, at least not to my **** dyno...
and Are you saying that someone wantted to charge you 700 to just install your parts... I got a quote of 900 to install and manufacture the whole thing. (and that included the High temp paint)... sounds like to me you just need to have someone just make it or install the exhaust yourself...
I'm at the tire shop and snapped some pictures ot the exhaust with my crummy cell phone and am in the prosess of uploading them.

that looks like a sweet mandrel bent setup. They did an s-pipe for you too? Good shiznit. No one around here mandrel bends. all of the places I have asked crush bend the pipe, so you get the ridges in the pipe at the bends. I can deal with some mis-fitting pipes if it means going with crush bent.

Wow...I have had this exhaust for over a year and have never had any problems with it. I have the complete kit with the high flow cat and the s pipe and header. The only issue I ever had was with the header...that definately made it more raspy, but that has since cleared up. When all I had was the exhaust it sounded nice and never rattled against anything.
well this is all still an issue for me ( I got a little distracted with the death of 2 relitives, and the kidnapping of another) Things are a little better now so I just wrote them an email so as to see what the deal is with this kit, its been about 4 days and I havn't heard from them. I'm going to wait until after the Easter Break to really get on their butts...
I still have the CC exhaust at my house and my custom one on the car... (which is amazing BTW)...I will be posting some sound clips and possibily seeing if I can get this kit made so I can offer it to some of you guys on SL...

I am still getting a leak at the header/s-pipe. I have changed the gasket and the bolts several times, and I can't get rid of it. If there is a fix for this, please post it! I would rather not have the exhaust cut apart, but if that is the only option, then It's what I have to do.
Do you have a CAT?, Like I think I had said previously, the Cat pipe was manufactured incorrectly and becasue of this, it would shift the allignment of the whole exhaust. I had sent an email to the company that produced the exhuast and they said to send them the malfunctioning Pipe and they'd send me a new one.
so thats where I am at now, I sent them the old CAT pipe and am currently waiting on a corrected version.

is that why my midpipe rattles on the heat shield every now and then, causing me to have to crawl under there with a crow bar and "readust" the exhaust? Funny they never emailed me back when I mentioned it...I even PMd James. huh....
Hey I had ALL of these same problems......read way above and you can read what all of what I had. Anyway....fixed it all!! I took it to a local muffler shop and they welded and adjusted all of the piping and made it fit perfect!!! They had to take out about 2" of the stainless tho right around the cat, they said the same thing. The cat was made/angled wrong so it pulled the whole exhaust to the left. So they adjusted and welded everything up nice, adjusted at the s-pipe and header mating area and look at that - no leaks! Runs great, sounds decent....rasp isn't so bad. Cost me like $115. Not too bad.
good deal, I'm glad to see everything worked out for you.
my only issue is, when I pay almost 750 for an exhaust kit, I expect it to work correctly the first time. if it is advertised for a Scion tC then it should work on a Scion tC. It should not require adittional labor for the price paid.
I will however say that the company that manufactured the exhaust has performed very well for me, and they have so far been very helpful with the resolution of this issue. I have no complaints with them.

Not sure how many others may have gotten that bad 'batch', but taking about an inch or two off of the front of the midpipe and using stiffer exhaust hangers proved to be a quick fix for the fitment issue. It provides the necessary clearance forward and prevents that godawful rattling against the heat shield...
It would be nice if the whole thing fit straight from CC, but for $750+, i'll .make. it fit.
