uh....bump??

 

a "it's been close to a month since the part was ordered" bump.

 

i've e-mailed them. evidently they're "too busy" to answer phones. we'll see if they respond.

 

I just got a tracking number for my aluminized version. Will be here tomorrow.

 

yeah.. it looks like the SS's are slow in coming..... im ok with it, although i know most of you guys are anxious as i was. i saw the dyno sheets for the MMW header so now im trying to decide if im going to pick up the MMW header which comes with a S pipe...

 

Petem, if you go with the MMW race header you wont be disappointed. i just picked up one last week and after the install i drove it around and i couldnt be any happier my friend rode in my car and bought one for his tc. another buddy of mine with just an injen intake drove my car and now hes about to buy one. its also a matched system and fits perfect, you wont have to worry about mixing and matching.

i used to own a DC sports header by the way, and the MMW blows it out of the water. the DC offered high end. but the MMW offers power throughout the whole powerband beucase of its 4-2-1 design

 

thanks mahalzkita28... yeah.. im probably going to pick one up.. TRUE end user comments like yours are what really sells a product.. i know dyno sheets speak numbers.. but when customers are happy then it makes it worth while.. thanks

 

from what i gathered on another thread... the s-pipes.. im guessing the SS.. should ship no later than tueday the 6th...

 

That is true they are shipping on Tuesday....the last delay was in part due to the hurricane in FL

 

yeah.. from what james told me when i ordered it.. the pips wre being made by a shop down here in miami..

I just installed my aluminized S-pipe yesterday with a Megan header. Everything fit perfect! Made a very noticable increase in power. I highly recommend it.

Fit was perfect
All gaskets and hardware included.
I give it a thumbs up!

Any fitment issues with the Alphawerks header? I know ZPI had some problems with theirs.

 

I believe that was due to their choice in design.

 

Yay, my exhaust from them will be here Tuesday according to UPS, and the S-Pipe will Ship Tuesday. So maybe next weekend I can start wrenching! :D

 

well.. just got mine in.... im in miami so i figured i would get mine today.. since they are coming out of a shop in miami.. if im not mistaken...

anyways... ill drop that in tonight.... i was going to hold off since i was thinking of getting the MMW header.. but NOW.. im going to have to decide if im even going to keep the car past next year... i was looking at the saturn SKY.. it will not be out until next year.. but i don't want to spend all kinds of money on the tc and turn around and get the SKY when it comes out.............

 

I pray I get mine tonight... I have to change oil and i'd rather do it at the same time.

if you pickup a sky/solstice (i think thats the family...) then wait until the end of the first model year and see if there are many problems.. then pick it up on the cheap at the year end sales
