CreativeCompacts.Com S-Pipe Upgrade Information
I just got it on a few hours ago, I put it on before I did the header, not much of a difference with just the S-pipe on a stock system for those who wanted to know.
One minor issue, the factory pipe has the nuts welded to it, and the new pipe didn't come with any, thats just great when its all dis-assembled and you can't drive the car to go get some, so everyone be prepared and get them ahead of time.
Fitment is absolutely perfect though, very nice quality piece. The S-Pipe as a stand alone mod, not really worth the cost, the header is really needed to notice any gain.

I think you are missing the point of replacing the s pipe.
If you dont have an intake or a header and really if you dont have an exhaust it isnt going to benefit you too much until you get them.
The exhaust system starts with the intake and ends with the exhaust tip. With all the other mods you are reducing the air flow restictions that the stock setup has. This s pipe is the last restriction, and a HUGE one at that. It simply allows air to move freely from beginning to end, hence improving the overall system and hp gains. A part of any gain you get from an intake or a header is lost as soon as it hits the s pipe because it is so restrictive. The s pipe maximizes all gains...
Since I dont have one I have no idea if it changes the sound but I am guessing not by much. The numbers are what will change...HOWEVER please no one ask for a dyno because its not going to make ANY difference...every car is going to be different but I am pretty sure that if you dyno'd the car with intake, header, exhaust and then added the s pipe and dyno'd again you would see a difference.
