do you need to keep your old header/cat to pass emissions? damn proximity to NYC means emissions testing every 2 years, although I might be tempted to reregister the car with a friend in upstate NY to avoid that... :twisted:

Does anyone know if there are 2 oxygen sensors on the tC? I see only the one before the cat. Is there one located in the rear of the catalytic converter (in the exhaust pipe)?

Did you weight the DC hearder before you install it? I wonder how much weight differet between stock and DC.

For those of you that swapped out the exhaust. Did you find out the weight different?

I am looking into make the my tC lighter...

Yes, for obd2 cars there is always one before the conveter and one after the converter.

If the emissions there is based on your computer on your car, you will most likely pass with the DC sports header. My CEL did not go on which means my other catalytic converter is still doing it's job.

Right after the 2nd cat.

I bought the headers from mcgeorgeparts.com...I believe they sell it for $314 with shipping.
