Not really. They say that many can withstand more pressure and can lead to better cooling... but it's really very negligible...

thats what i was thinking cuz really the fan will run and cool the car no matter what...right?

Not really....Now, if you put a sticker of the radiator cap company on the hood, that might do something :D

Yeah if you want improved cooling get an aftermarket fan that works better and will be lighter.

They only affect performance if they're rated at a higher pressure than stock. Higher PSI will raise the boiling point of the fluid in your system. Most people don't need to do this, it won't make the car faster, and you could have warranty issues so check with the dealer first.

no it wont. but a massive spoler on the rear of the car helps tremendously with down force on your front wheel drive car and is rumored to add at least 30 hp.....

it's a cap that seals the system just like your stock one. unless your car is getting too hot and leaking coolant through the stock radiator cap i'd venture to say no . doesn't common sense tell you that if the cooling system is working and not leaking, a different cap can't make it work any better? if it ain't leaking there ain't no better cap....so, it is cosmetic.
