Default Dragon Intakefrom Weapon R* with Ram air kit

Ive been looking at weaponR*'s intake systems and ive been wondering what the hell the dragon intake is. Either a cold air, short ram, or just an intake. Plus how the Ram Air kit would work out with that. Im wondering this becuase if you where to purchase the dragon intake with a heat sheild and ram air kit, it would cost the same as the secret weapon intake and im not even sure what thatis either. Here are some links to their website to show the differences and the products. Im not sure which would be a better deal i need some help.

the dragon intake looks like a toy.... i have the secret weapon intake on mine and i love the sound and increases throttle response, it dyno'd at 6whp for a short ram. ide recommend it. i personally think it looks better then a CAI becuase it doesnt just disappear into the fender wall. WR said thay are going to make an airbox for it to keep out the cold air, and then a ram air kit will be compatible so its sucking in cold air, at the same time sheilding the filter from the hot air.

heat soak only happens at dead stops, when you are racing your car is moving fast, and the air going through the grill will cool the engine. if you really want to block out heat get their cold air box

The Dragon Intake and Ram Air Kit seems pretty cool. I would like to see some dyno #'s w/ the kit. Would you guys mount the ram air in the upper or lower grille?

for the tc... i took the vent cover off of the driver side... and routed it there, works REAL well. and as for dyno, click on my profile. the secret weapon intake alone made 6whp.

Default But what about water damage?

I was woundering

I live down in Miami where we get some ugly rain storms... would the Ram Air kit be a bad idea for me? also how much of a pain would putting on the shield realy be?
