Default Dyno Results N/A Setup~

Well...I got my car tuned after buying my Greddy Emange Blue about erm back in like April haha. But I got bored and thought to post results and set up today while at work. I will upload the Dyno sheet tomorrow once I scan it into my PC.

Set up

Injen CAI
Invidia S-Pipe
Alpha Werks Header
Custom Mid w/ 30" resonator
TRD Axle Back
Greddy Emanage Blue tuned by Church's Automotive
RS2.0 2006

The results on the final pull after some serious tuning was:

TQ: 179
HP: 178

Flywheel, both of them sooo like 155-160 ish to the wheels which is not too bad for N/A I think.

It was about 82 outside and about the same inside the garage, low humidity and done in So Cal.

It was running about 105 tq and Hp before tuning b/c it was running so rich. The emanage was a god send. A bit of advice to all of you who are modded and not tuned. Don't kill your engine w/ a CEL...

For anyone wondering: Emanage does not get rid of CEL but over rides the fuel/air ratio so the CEL does nothing but glow now...

haha i was thinkin the same thing... either way its an incredible improvement...

as for the possible sti/350/s2000 if you dont mind spending on the car definitely go with one of those they are all great candidates... if you are going to be more frugal just turbo tha thing and fly by the sti's like me

the engine, when throwing a CEL, will either starve the engine (lean) or over compensate for the air coming in and provide more fuel (rich) and in my case it decided to run rich.

My mileage sucked, my power sucked, everything sucked. Then I tuned and now I am happy

2.5 all the way back except for the resonator

I just think the CEL was killing it and causing limp mode when it was on. It would pick up at around 3k RPM and you can feel it kick in but now it has power all the way through.

So what would I need if I wanted to get my car tuned. I have the exact same set up as you, except with a pulley.

this might be a dumb question... but you said you have headers... did you reinstall your o2 sensor...

a tc hack is to pull out and plug the o2 sensor bung keeping the car in open loop to allow for a good tune without the ecu adjusting the parameters because of CELs.....

I would get the dezod plug and play harness and spend some cash on that without having to rewire all of your ECU parts and just get an emanage blue, plug and play and get it tuned.

Take it to the shop and run it on the stock till you get there and install the emange when you are there. With the plug and play it takes about 10 min no joke. Just MAKE SURE YOU EMANAGE IS SET TO 12 VOLTS rather than the 5 they have it on stock. The plug and play utilizes all of your injectors so you need all of the voltage.

Yeah I did. The CEL was off during the tuning process as we reset the battery and what not to install the emanage.

bleh I am not sure then...I thought it was 2.5" hrm...

nm, just looked it up the s-pipe is 2.25 soooo w/e.

The plug n play harness + emanage (off of ebay) + tune cost about 750 bucks in total.

Harness: 300
Emanage: 250
Tune: 200

It was pricey, but it was effective and helped a great deal.

Before the tune I could get out and push the car to more TQ =/

The gain is not even questionable. My car eats up 1-3K and then at 3-5.5K it eats asphalt all over the place...as far as tC's can eat it haha.

How do you know what the flywheel horsepower was...did you have it on an engine dyno? No chassis dyno is going to give you flywheel horsepower.
