It was when fast scion had their grand opening. A few years ago.

 

Not a fan of drag racing any more, but will go to irwindale next week to see if I can hit the 9.2 mark. Last time I went to irwindale my best time was a 9.9. It was 2 weeks ago. No traction at all.

 

No more slicks? I still haven't taken the tc out since the 2010 longo show. The evo did 8.6 stock. eh :/
I'll be retiring from this scene very soon.

When I went 2 weeks ago I didn't take the slicks, but I sure will this time. I have done a 9.3 before wit street tires. Let's see how it goes this time.

Getting my dyno tune on Monday

 

So the numbers are 184hp n 186tq to the crank, dont really know how much whp im pushing cause the numbers on the pic are to the crank. I have video of everything but i need to edit it. Car seems to push real good in the mid range. Going to find out how the car does when i go to Buttonwillow raceway on june 3rd.

 

Nice numbers. Torque is pretty solid. Mine was all over the place.

 

My torque was all over as well with the baseline pull. One run was good another one I lost 10ftq n another one I lost 5ftq. So it was crazy at first. Now it pulls hard in the low rpm range.

 

Do you have a turbo or anything? Or was this just stock engine?

 

All I have for power are ur basic bolt ons

 

I still haven't installed mine. Haven't had a day off :-/ when I do instal it Do I need to get a tune with this.

idk i feel like with a all motor car that this transmission is not what you want by any means its geared to long in my opinion now for turbo setup yes all day.

i know this for fact seeing i have already broken 6 transmission and 3 where e351 the rest stock now back on stock number 7 as soon as this break i will go back to e351

 

Just like all transmissions they have their pros n cons. For me since I track my car, the tranny helps me a bit. At one of the track I shaved off 2sec from my fastest time. I have gone thru 3 transmissions. For all motor this tranny will hurt you if u drag race ur car. U will need to have a good amount of power to go thru the long gears. I would say u need at least 180+whp to go thru the gears. But if u just DD ur car this can help u on some mpg's. But for me this tranny will help me on the tracks that I run. No more up shifting n down shifting on the turns, I could just stay in one gear.
